National Partnership Expands Support for Data-Informed Student Success Efforts
Washington, DC
September 21st, 2026
Renewed support for colleges and universities to leverage data to inform decision-making and strengthen student outcomes.
ResearchEd is partnering with the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU), Complete College America (CCA), and UNCF to help colleges and universities make better use of student outcomes data to support student success.
Over the next academic year, ResearchEd will provide training, coaching, and collaborative learning opportunities to participating institutions using data from the Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP). This work builds on ResearchEd’s earlier technical assistance to help institutions onboard to the PDP.
This next phase of work focuses on helping campus teams understand their data, ask important questions about student outcomes, and use findings to inform decision-making and improvement efforts.
Participating institutions will have access to:
-
1:1 Data Coaching
-
Webinars and interactive trainings
-
Tools and resources for data analysis
-
A year-long Guided Data Inquiry Project focused on student success
Through the Guided Data Inquiry Project, cross-functional campus teams will work together to investigate a student success challenge, analyze data, and develop recommendations for action.
"Our goal is to help institutions move beyond collecting data to using it in meaningful ways," said Rachel Rush-Marlowe, Founder and Executive Director of ResearchEd. "By creating time and space for inquiry, institutions can better understand student experiences and identify opportunities to improve outcomes."
This work is supported by funding from the Gates Foundation.
